Do I have to be a member to register to the event?
WBCSD Council Meeting is a closed event. The meeting is open, upon registration, to WBCSD members, WBCSD Global Network Partners and selected guests only.
What is the difference between a WBCSD member and WBCSD Global Network Partner?
You can refer to the list of WBCSD member companies here.
WBCSD works with a Global Network of 60+ business organizations worldwide working to advance sustainability at local and regional levels. Global Network partners benefit from a discounted rate for the full week.
How do I register?
How do I see/print registration receipts?
When the registration process is completed, you will receive a receipt attached to your confirmation email.
Can we split one ticket among two participants?
No. WBCSD event tickets are nominative and non-dissociable.
I didn’t receive a confirmation email from WBCSD, is it normal?
Confirmation emails are sent automatically when the registration process is completed. However, certain types of registration require review and the confirmation e-mail is sent within the next 24 hours. If you have completed your registration and have not received a confirmation e-mail within the above-mentioned timeframe, please contact email@example.com.
Can I pay my participation by invoice?
For events tickets, WBCSD only accepts payments by credit card. Your participation will be confirmed upon reception of your payment. Payments by invoice are accepted only under exceptional circumstances and will involve administrative charges.
How can I book a hotel room and what are the rates?
Can I come to the Council Dinner?
The Council Dinner is open to Council Member and alternate Council Member only.
I need an invitation letter for my visa application, can you help me?
We can provide invitation letters to support your visa application only after receipt of your registration form and full payment of your registration fees. Please send your request(s) to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your specific requirements.
Can I use social media during the event?
Our Council Meeting is held under Chatham House rule, meaning that you can use social media all you like but you need to refrain from quoting people directly.
My company benefits from WBCSD’s Enhanced Membership package, how can I register?
Beneficiaries of WBCSD’s Enhanced Membership package (includes one in-person ticket for the Liaison Delegate Meeting and two in-person tickets for the Council Meeting) receive a personalized invitation and a dedicated discount code. Please register using the discount code to waive the fee at the end of the registration process. For inquiries, contact email@example.com.
Can I convert an in-person ticket to a virtual ticket if I can no longer come to Tokyo?
Each (1) in-person ticket can be converted to three (3) virtual tickets anytime upon request until 23 September 2022. Please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I will not be able to attend the meeting, can I get a refund?
WBCSD Events tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another participant from the same company or organization. Please kindly note that once the event has started, tickets become nominative. To request a ticket transfer please contact email@example.com before the event.
What’s the dress code for the meeting?
The dress code for WBCSD Meetings is business attire.
When will I receive my log-in details for online participation?
Online log-in details for the event will be available closer to the event date, most likely a few days before the meeting takes place. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your secure contacts not to miss communications about the event and important information such as connection details.
Will the session materials and recordings be available?
All sessions will be recorded and available on demand on our event platform as well as on our private channel for attendees following the event.
